Providence Health & Services, a network of hospitals and health services based in Alaska, Washington, Montana, Oregon and California, has chosen RayStation as its primary treatment planning system in four additional sites within Oregon and Montana. With the new order, all Providence sites in Oregon and Montana will become RayStation centers.
The additional sites are located in Missoula, Montana, and the Portland metropolitan region. Three other Providence hospitals in Oregon and California are already RayStation customers, bringing the Providence system total to seven RayStation centers.
RayStation was chosen following an evaluation of leading treatment planning systems on the market. Key factors in the decision included the system’s high efficiency and cutting-edge functionality such as multi-criteria optimization, adaptive planning, dose tracking and fallback planning. In addition to these, the purchase comprises core features and deformable registration.
