To offer clinicians the possibility to utilize the machine specific capabilities of the CyberKnife System combined with the strong features in our treatment planning system RayStation, is yet another step for us to be interoperable and advance cancer treatment.

The CyberKnife® M6™ and S7™ system is the world’s most precise robotic radiotherapy delivery system. It features a linear accelerator (linac) directly mounted on a robot to deliver the high-energy x-rays or photons used in radiation therapy. The robotic dose delivery is combined with real-time image guidance to achieve high delivery precision anywhere in the body and enables stereotactic radiosurgery (SRS) and stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT) treatments for the full range of indications. The partnership between Accuray and RaySearch is built upon a long-term collaboration agreement to develop and market fully integrated solutions. Since RayStation 11A we support optimization with the three different collimation types: fixed collimators, Iris™ Variable Aperture Collimator and InCise™ MLC. The CyberKnife planning follows the standardized RayStation workflow, giving the treatment planner access to the advanced palette of features of the RayStation treatment planning system. Additionally, all CyberKnife Synchrony® techniques for real-time motion synchronization, are supported.
