RayCare now supports seamless integration with Microsoft Word, allowing users to create patient-related documents using templates or from scratch directly within the patient chart. A new Word add-in enables dynamic references to RayCare data, allowing real-time updates and synchronization. This supports efficient documentation, especially for medical oncology notes and clinical reports, while ensuring alignment with institutional standards for data exchange and document management.
The DMWL integration streamlines imaging workflows by enabling imaging devices to automatically retrieve patient identification and appointment information directly from RayCare. This eliminates redundant manual data entry, significantly reduces risk of error, and frees up clinical staff to focus on patient care.
RayCare v2025 adds an HL7-based interface to receive appointments from external scheduling systems like Hospital Information Systems (HIS). This enhances appointment coordination, enables automated data exchange, and supports patient-centric services.
The diagnosis module now includes automatic staging logic aligned with the AJCC 8th edition guidelines. Based on provided T, N, M, and prognostic values, RayCare suggests tumor staging classifications to assist clinicians in achieving accurate, standardized, and guideline-compliant cancer documentation. Users can also customize lab and vitals views for streamlined data access.
RayCare v2025 extends support to several new treatment delivery platforms and introduces a RayCare Treatment user interface for more efficient beam session handling. Now integrated with Accuray Radixact, Accuray CyberKnife and IBA ProteusOne.
