IT Specialist RayCare
RaySearch is developing the next generation oncology information system to support improved cancer care. We are now looking for experienced IT specialists to join our fight against cancer by configuring, installing and maintaining our customers’ IT infrastructure for RayCare.
About the Position
The emphasis of this position will be to handle installation and technical maintanance for both current and potential customers. You will be part of our international service team and collaborate closely with our sales organization to ensure a professional customer experience from sale to installation. Your primary work tasks will include planning, configuration, implementation and support of RaySearch’s innovative software to ensure high-quality IT environments as well as accurate product evaluation and clinical operation.
In addition to the role of supporting customers, you will actively be involved in pre-sales activities, answering IT related prospect questions and creating customer IT solutions. You will also participate in customer IT trainings.

Qualifications & Experience
We are looking for candidates with a practical understanding of clinical workflows and previous experience of oncology information systems. We believe that successful candidates fulfill the following requirements:
- University degree within engineering, computer science, IT or other relevant field
- Experience from the medical device industry and clinical IT environments
- Experience of customer support and direct customer communications
- Experience of technical support of oncology information systems
- Installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows 10, Windows Server
- Distributed systems and high-availability solutions
- System integration
- MS SQL databases
- Active Directory
- Identity Federation
- Virtualization solutions like VMware vSphare/Horizon and Citrix XenApp/XenDesktop
- Messaging solutions like RabbitMQ
In order to be successful in this role you should have experience from working in an international and highly dynamic environment. You enjoy facing new challenges and solving complex problems, both independently and in collaboration with your team members. You have excellent communication and inter-personal skills and you are motivated by providing first class customer service. Further, you are used to working proactively, taking initiatives and have the ability to prioritize your work.
