About the position

RaySearch Americas is currently seeking an Application Specialist for RayStation® to join our dynamic staff.  The position will be based in the United States, where the employee is expected to work from their home office.  The position, although based in your home office, will require travel throughout the Americas including our North American headquarters based in New York, Silicon Valley and our RaySearch Laboratories headquarters based in Stockholm Sweden.

The emphasis of the position will be working with current and potential customers, introducing them to RayStation® through hands on training.  This work also includes gathering and suggesting improvements for the product as well as solving problems. Support is provided remotely and onsite. An important part of this role will be to support new customers during the clinical implementation of RayStation®. This process is the beginning of a long-term relationship with our customers and is very important. Other tasks include but are not limited to handling support cases, collecting feedback from customers, classroom training in New York City & Santa Clara, CA, onsite training and trade show demonstrations for prospective customers.

Your profile

A successful candidate must be motivated to work in a dynamic environment, have an entrepreneurial spirit, be service minded, positive and social. You must be a self-starter, working proactively and independently.

Must have skills include:

  • CMD, MSc or PhD in physics, engineering or equivalent. RTT is a plus.
  • Clinical experience in radiation therapy.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Extensive MS Office and PC / Mac skills.

Preferred skills include:

  • RayStation® clinical experience.
  • IronPython / CPython programming experience.
  • Dicom knowledge.
  • Mountain or West Coast residency preferred.
  • Excellent language skills in Spanish and/or French.

Plus skills include:

  • Proton planning experience.
  • Sales and customer support experience, including both written and verbal direct customer communications.
  • Global case management systems experience (Salesforce).
  • Experience in training and project management.
  • Clinical Tomotherapy and Cyberknife experience.
  • OIS management
