Sales Manager

RaySearch is developing the next generation oncology information system to support improved cancer care. We are now looking for experienced Sales Managers to join our fight against cancer by bringing RayCare to the market.

This is a unique opportunity to participate in the launch and positioning of a brand-new and highly advanced oncology information system. RaySearch is an industry leader in software for cancer care with a strong focus on research and development that offers excellent staff benefits in a stimulating environment with highly skilled colleagues. This is a full-time position based either at our head office in Stockholm or at our development hub in San Francisco. 

About the Position 

As Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales, creating sales strategies and defining sales processes for RayCare. You will manage direct sales operations with customers at cancer clinics all over the world, you will work closely with RaySearch’s existing sales and marketing organization and you will support local distributors in the sales process. The position includes responsibility for market analysis and strategy development as well as close customer interactions and lead generation. Further you will be involved in tenders, financing and purchasing processes and you will participate in qualitative trade shows and industry conferences.    

Personal profile

In order to be successful in this position you need to have strong business acumen and an exceptional understanding of sales strategies. You have previous experience of working with sales and marketing of oncology information systems and you have a strong network within the field of oncology and radiation therapy. You have solid strategic and analytical qualities and the ability to build structures that others can work from. Further you are an excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills and a natural sense for customer service and customer experience. Further, you are results-oriented and have the ability to prioritize your work in a fast-changing working environment. 

Education and skills

We would like to see that you have:

  • M.Sc. degree in Finance, Business Administration or another relevant field
  • Extensive experience from medical device industry, particularly within the fields of oncology and radiation therapy
  • Extensive experience from advanced sales strategy development with proven track-record
  • Experience from direct sales operations of oncology information systems
  • Experience from direct sales operations of treatment planning systems is meriting
  • Understanding and experience of clinical workflows
  • Experience from handling sales and tender processes within the field of oncology and radiation therapy
  • Experience of budget responsibility
  • Experience of working with CRM system and leads management
