Application Specialist UK

Position

RaySearch UK Limited are looking to recruit a full-time applications specialist to support their treatment planning system, RayStation. The successful applicant will work alongside the Regional Business Director responsible for its UK & Irish territories.

In this position you are expected to work from a home office based out of the United Kingdom. The primary responsibility will be to support the existing UK RayStation customer base acting as 1st line service, and to provide sales support to potential customers through demonstrations, training and product evaluations.

In addition to travel in the UK and Ireland you will be expected to travel to Stockholm on a regular basis to participate in the ongoing development of RayStation.

Some overseas travel may also be required to support customer demonstrations, on-site trainings and international conferences and exhibitions as defined by the RaySearch Training Manager.


Qualifications

We are looking for an experienced radiotherapy professional with a minimum of 3 years clinical experience in radiotherapy treatment planning. The successful candidate should possess excellent communication skills, be prepared to undertake ongoing technological learning, work well within a team and thrive in an often pressurized, yet challenging and rewarding environment.

Experience of IMRT, VMAT and Adaptive Planning techniques and commissioning of treatment planning systems is advantageous.

In order to be successful in the role you need to be used to working in an international environment and have an entrepreneurial spirit. As a person, you have the relevant academic qualifications, you are service minded, positive and social. You are used to taking the initiative, working proactively and independently.

In addition the successful candidate should have skills and experiences within the following areas:

  • Clinical experience in radiotherapy treatment planning, particularly with IMRT, VMAT and Adaptive Planning techniques.
  • Basic linac and dosimetry knowledge.
  • Experience of education and training is considered a merit.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong presentation skills and the ability to communicate effectively to a group.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, Citrix and CLM systems is desirable.
