IT / Service Engineer – RaySearch Germany

RaySearch Germany is currently seeking a key individual to take on the role as IT/Service Engineer.


RaySearch is now looking for an IT /Service Engineer to join our German subsidiary as a part of our international service team. In this positon the primary responsibility will be to handle technical issues for both current and potential customers in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.  

Work tasks will include planning, implementation and support of the RayStation product and the IT environment where it is hosted, to ensure accurate product evaluation and clinical operation.

In addition to the role of supporting customers, you will actively be involved in various projects and, from an IT infrastructure point of view, play a vital role in the future development of RayStation.

In this position you are expected to work from a home office based out of Germany and travel to support our customers in Europe, both at the clinics and remotely. You will also from time to time be required to travel to the head office in Stockholm.

The Department

The central Service Department of RaySearch is located at the headquarters in Stockholm and acts as a support to the several local service departments of our existing and future subsidiaries in America, Europe and Asia. RaySearch’s Service Department is responsible for all installations, training and support of our products to our customers.

Personal profile

In order to be successful in the role you need to be used to work in an international environment, have an entrepreneurial spirit as well as the drive to break boundaries on new markets. As a person you have the relevant academic qualifications, you are service minded, positive and social. You are used to take initiatives, working proactively and independently.

Qualifications and skills

  • Experience of customer support, including Direct customer communications – written and verbal
  • Customer deployment experience
  • Experience in MS SQL databases (install, configure, maintain), preferred 2012.
  • Windows 7, Windows 8, Windows Server 2008 R2 and 2012 R2 (installation, troubleshooting, Active Directory).
  • Citrix deployments and support, preferred XenApp/XenDesktop 7.5/7.6
  • Familiarity with XML.
  • Excellent language skills in German and English, other languages appreciated
  • Experience from the medical field and preferably in radiotherapy, nuclear medicine or radiology is recommended
